Frequently Asked
Questions
I am a patient of the Avicenna clinic, how can I make an appointment with one of your specialist doctors?
In case you have previously discussed with your general practitioner, you should receive a call from the clinic to confirm with you an appointment with the specialist doctor. Otherwise, you can always contact the clinic to make an appointment. If you don't get a call, there are currently no seats available.
I am not a patient of the clinic, can I still have an appointment with one of your medical specialists?
Yes, this is possible if you have a referral from your family doctor. Simply send it to us by email at the following address (...) or send it by fax. Please do not forget to provide your contact details.
My prescription has expired and my pharmacist has sent a request for renewal, with no return. What can I do?
To update your prescription, it is necessary to make an appointment with your attending physician.
As a result of my tests, I have not received any feedback from my attending physician. What can I do?
Normally, you will receive a call from the clinic to make a follow-up appointment with your doctor if your doctor deems it necessary. If you do not receive any calls, it may mean that your doctor does not consider it necessary to see you because your test results are normal. However, in some cases we may not receive your results for various reasons. If in doubt, you can always contact us.
I am looking for a family doctor, are you accepting new patients?
Currently, none of our family physicians are taking new patients.
In an emergency, can I come to the clinic without an appointment?
We do not take walk-in patients. However, if you already have a doctor assigned to you in our clinic, you can make an appointment in advance via Bonjour-sante.
